SLOW BRAISED AL PASTOR RECIPE INGREDIENTS: 1 POUND PORK OR BEEF, CUT INTO 1-2″ CHUNKS 1 POUCH AL PASTOR SAUCE INSTRUCTIONS: 1. HEAT A MEDIUM SKILLET OVER MEDIUM-HIGH HEAT. ADD A SMALL AMOUNT OF OIL IF NEEDED TO PREVENT STICKING. 2. ADD THE MEAT TO THE SKILLET AND COOK, STIRRING OCCASIONALLY, UNTIL BROWNED AND COOKED THROUGH, ABOUT 8 MINUTES. 3. ONCE THE MEAT IS COOKED, REDUCE THE HEAT TO MEDIUM AND ADD THE AL PASTOR SAUCE TO THE SKILLET. 4. STIR THE SAUCE INTO THE BROWNED MEAT, MAKING SURE ALL THE PIECES ARE COATED. 5. ALLOW THE SAUCE TO COME TO A SIMMER AND CONTINUE COOKING ON LOW UNTIL MEAT IS TENDER. 6. SERVE HOT, GARNISHED WITH CHOPPED CILANTRO AND ONION IF DESIRED.
