Directions
Storage: Store open and unopened tins in a dry area at room temperature. Close the opened container tightly with plastic cap. Use content within 1 month. Do not freeze and avoid exposure to excessive heat.
Use by date: at the bottom of the can.
Mixing instructions: Unless prescribed otherwise by your healthcare professional, use this feeding chart for proper amount of water and powder. To make approx: 2 fl oz bottle: 2 fl oz (60 ml) water, 2 level scoops, 9.0 grams; To make approx: 4 fl oz bottle: 4 fl oz (1200 ml) water, 4 level scoops, 18.0 grams; To make approx: 6 fl oz bottle: 6 fl oz (180 ml) water, 6 level scoops, 27.0 grams; To make approx: 8 fl oz bottle: 8 fl oz (2400 ml) water, 8 level scoops, 36.0 grams. Directions for preparation and use: Before preparing the infant formula, make sure to always wash your hands. Thoroughly wash bottle and feeding utensils in hot, soapy water before each use. Use water from a safe source to mix with powdered infant formula. If you are not sure if your tap water is safe to use for preparing infant formula, contact your local health department or use bottled water. If your baby is very young (younger than 3 months old), was born prematurely, or has a weakened immune system, contact your infant’s pediatrician to find out if you need to toke extra precautions in preparing your infant’s formula. 1. Refer to the table above and fill bottle with the desired amount of warm water. 2. Using the enclosed scoop, add the indicated amount of powder to water in bottle. 3. Cap the bottle and shake well until powder is dissolved. 2. Your baby’s health depends on carefully following the preparation, use and storage instructions. Failure to follow these instructions could result in severe harm. Use immediately, or cover and refrigerate (35-40 degrees F / 2-4 degrees C) prepared formula. Use within 24 hours. Throw out unfinished formula left in the bottle after your baby’s feed. Do not use any prepared formula that has been unrefrigerated for over one hour. Do not freeze.
