OATMEAL PREPARATION: SERVINGS 1 WATER (CUPS) 1 OATS (CUPS) 1/2 SALT (OPTIONAL) DASH SERVINGS 2 WATER (CUPS) 1 OATS (CUPS) 1 3/4 SALT (OPTIONAL) TSP. SERVINGS 6 WATER (CUPS) 5 OATS (CUPS) 3 SALT (OPTIONAL) 1/4 TSP. MAKE ON STOVETOP: 1. BRING WATER TO A BOIL. 2. STIR OATS IN SLOWLY. 3. SIMMER 3-5 MINUTES OVER MEDIUM HEAT; STIR OCCASIONALLY. NOTE: FOR CREAMIER OATMEAL, COMBINE WATER, SALT AND OATS; BRING TO A BOIL; COOK AS DIRECTED. MAKE IN MICROWAVE (ONE SERVING): 1. COMBINE WATER, SALT AND OATS IN A MEDIUM SIZED MICROWAVEABLE BOWL. 2.
