Ingredients: Organic Short Grain Japonica Rice
Directions
What You Need: 1 cup Ocean’s Halo Sushi Rice, 1-1/4 cup water, 1 tbsp sugar, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 cup rice vinegar. How to Cook it: 1. Rinse the rice 2-3 times until the water runs clear. 2. Put rice and water in a pot and bring to a boil, cover and simmer for 20 minutes. 3. Remove from the heat and let sit for 10 minutes, covered. 4. Heat the vinegar, salt and sugar together in a small saucepan, to dissolve sugar. 5. Fluff rice with a fork and gently stir in the vinegar mixture. 6. Let cool for about 15 minutes before using. If using a rice cooker, use the same rice to water ratio and add vinegar mixture after cooking.
Great for sushi rolls & poke bowls!
